The purpose of this research is to design a model / grand design of institutional innovation by looking at the sources of problems that BUM Desa often experiences in Sleman Regency by incorporating the entrepreneurial capacity variable as the main part towards a BUM Desa that is agile and resilient. The research method is observation of the place, actors, and activity components, then analyzed by qualitative descriptive analysis. The object of his research is Village Owned Enterprises (BUM Desa), located in Tridadi Sleman, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The results of this research indicate that increasing the capacity of institutional entrepreneurs in managing Village BUM is a very important need. Institutional entrepreneurs who have intellectual abilities, social capital, social abilities and cultural capital are expected to be able to change the institutional structure of BUM Desa to become more advanced and independent. Implementing this model is expected to help BUM Desa in Sleman Regency become a stronger and more competitive institution in dealing with the changes and demands of the times.
