Abstract:

Damar is one of the Non-Timber Forest Products (NTFPs) which comes from parts of trees or plants and has special characteristics so that it can be used as goods needed by the community, sold as export commodities or used as raw materials for industry. Damar batu products sold by Indo Golden Empire Company are divided into 2, namely damar batu in the form of chunks and ash. The purpose of the study was to analyze the difference in export volume and export value of damar batu in the form of chunks and ash at the exporter Indo Golden Empire Co. This research was conducted on September 04 - September 27, 2023. The data analysis method used in this research is the quantitative description method. The results showed differences in export volume between lump and ash damar batu in 2018-2022. The export volume in 2018-2019 increased, but in 2020, it decreased due to Covid-19. In 2021-2022, it began to increase again. The average chunk and ash resin export volume is 3216 tons and 603 tons, respectively. There is a difference in export value between mastic and ash from 2018 to 2022. The export value from 2018 to 2021 has increased, but in 2022, it has decreased because export activities have begun to normalize, and prices have begun to stabilize. The average export value of damar batu in the form of chunks and ash is USD 2,209,600 and USD 152,700, respectively.
