Astuti Paramita Supatni, Sinto Sunaryo. "Exploring the Research Trend of Cynicism in the Workplace through Bibliometric" International Research Journal of Economics and Management Studies, Vol. 3, No. 1, pp. 22-32, 2024.
This study aims to provide an overview of past, present, and future research orientations on cynicism in the workplace. Bibliometric analysis was conducted on 280 articles from the Scopus database published from 1996 to 2023. Using the help of Bibliometrix, which is integrated with Biblioshiny and VosViewer, analysis was carried out to determine publication performance and science mapping. The study results show that the number of studies on cynicism in the workplace continues to increase yearly. Specifically, research on cynicism in health services has recently attracted much attention from researchers. In science mapping, the large amount of research in this sector has given rise to a large cluster. The study also revealed that authors from the USA are very dominant regarding publication productivity. Future researchers may explore the role of job characteristics and individual characteristics.
