The study's major goal was to investigate the link between budgeting techniques and performance in minor healthcare companies in Ogoja. The specific objectives were to investigate the connection between budgetary planning and outcomes in small healthcare companies in Ogoja, as well as the connection between budget interaction and achievement in small healthcare businesses in Ogoja. This study adopted an ex post facto research design. 72 management and non-management employees of Sancta Maria Clinic, Mercy Clinic and Asi Ukpo Diagnostic and Medical Center in Ogoja constituted the population of the study and the Taro Yamane (1967) formula was used to draw out a sample size of 61. The stratified random sampling technique was used in the study and a well-structured questionnaire was used to gather data for the study. The data gathered was subjected to Ordinary Least Square regression in SPSS 27.0, and descriptive and inferential statistics were employed to analyze the findings. The study revealed that small healthcare firms in Ogoja had significantly higher levels of performance when they used a well-designed budget. Furthermore, the research revealed that small healthcare firms in Ogoja perform more effectively when their budgets are well disclosed. Furthermore, the study revealed that Ogoja's modest healthcare enterprises had substantial advantages as a result of participatory budgeting. Based on these findings, it was recommended amongst others that budget execution should be the responsibility of all workers, especially those in lesser ranks.
