Abstract:

The current study aimed to examine the influence of digital marketing techniques of (A/B Testing, Landing Page Optimization, User Experience (UX) Optimization, Clear Call-to-Action (CTA), Social Proof, and Simplified Checkout Process) on the effectiveness of conversion rate optimization (CRO) from the perspective of sales and marketing managers and employees in Jordanian cellular telecommunications companies. Quantitative methodology was adopted, and a questionnaire was self-administered by (100) sales and marketing managers. Results of the study indicated that digital marketing techniques are able to increase the effectiveness of CRO with the special influence of the variable (Simplified Checkout Process) as it has the ability to influence customer intention to make a purchase decision from a specific website based on the level of purchase process easiness and smoothness. This current study sheds light on the relationship between digital marketing and the concept of conversion rate, in addition to identifying the best and most suitable digital process to optimize conversion rate.
