The study involved a survey design and primarily employed descriptive statistics such as frequency and percentage as well as weighted mean and ranking. Purposive sampling, convenience sampling, and snowball sampling were used to correct data. A survey research questionnaire that combined both open-ended and closed-ended questions was used. Results from the first hypothesis showed that leadership had significant impact on effect on the business performance of manufacturing SMEs in Tanzania (p < .05). Second hypothesis showed that effective implementation of management of process quality had significant impact on business performance (p < .05). Also, the result of the third hypothesis revealed that effective implementation of supplier quality had significant impact on business performance (p < .05). Furthermore, hypothesis four results revealed that strategy evaluation and control had impact on business expansion with (p < .05 and t-value = 7.708).
