Abstract:

Indonesia is an agrarian country where most of the population works as farmers, as is the province of Bali. The agricultural sector is a key sector of the economy and a sector that absorbs part of the workforce in Bali. This study aims to analyze the role of the agricultural sector in the economy of Bali Province in terms of output, Gross Added Value and final demand, analyze the backward and future linkages and analyze the multiplier effect or multiplier figures in terms of output, income and labor. This research is descriptive research, namely analyzing the data that has been collected with related statistical reporting methods in the form of comparisons of ratios, averages, and percentages. The analysis used is based on the 2016 Input-Output Table, which has gone through the process of updating data using the RAS method, so it has become the estimated 2023 Input-Output Table. The condition of the role of the agriculture, forestry and fisheries sectors in the economy of Bali Province, when viewed in terms of final demand, output and NTB, each has the 6th largest value in final demand and output and the 5th largest value in NTB. When viewed from the inter-sector linkages, the agriculture, forestry and fisheries sectors have forward linkages of 1.425518 and backward linkages of 1.163593. The Agriculture, forestry and fisheries sector also has an IBL (dispersion power) value of 0.842388 and an IFL (Degree of Sensitivity) of 1.032010. The value of the output multiplier of the agriculture, forestry and fisheries sector is 1.163593, the income multiplier is 0.065835, and the labor multiplier is 0.015959.
