Abstract:

This study aims to assess how the effectiveness of work ethic and internal communication impact job satisfaction among crew members at Anthony Veder. The research employs a descriptive quantitative method. It involved 102 employees from the Anthony Veder Fleet as subjects, with data gathered through a 40-statement questionnaire. A sample of 52 respondents was selected using random sampling. Data analysis was performed with the SPSS software, including descriptive analysis, classical assumption tests, regression analysis, F-test, and t-test. The findings indicate that, collectively, both communication and work ethic significantly affect employee job satisfaction. However, on an individual basis, only internal communication has a significant impact, while work ethic does not significantly influence job satisfaction.
