Abstract:

This study aims to analyze the barriers Coinfest Asia faces in seeking sponsors, competition from other conferences, and strategies in marketing. It assesses the major problems in getting sponsorship deals and strategies on how to overcome the major issues. Lastly, the study explores how the competition from other crypto conferences impacts the success and differentiation strategies that Coinfest Asia implements to stand above others. This would also assess the effectiveness of the marketing strategies of Coinfest Asia in the creation of participants and sponsors, and discover ways it can be improved in the future. The scope of the study will focus on the issues of sponsorship, competition issues, and other marketing issues that Coinfest Asia has encountered. The research traces the strategies and strategies used by Coinfest Asia in securing and retaining sponsors and examines whether competition from other conferences affects the success of the event. Apart from this, marketing strategies implemented by Coinfest Asia are also evaluated for achieving participant and sponsor satisfaction. The scope of the study is narrowed down to purely public data and relevant reports of Coinfest Asia. Other operational aspects that have no relevance to this scope of study are not discussed. The research is, therefore, qualitative in nature, involving semi-structured interviews with relevant stakeholders of Coinfest Asia and sponsors to elicit challenges and strategies. Document analysis, including event reports, marketing materials, and sponsor data, provides additional insights into the practices and strategies employed. The study also incorporates case studies of other cryptocurrency conferences to understand the competitive context and differentiation strategies. The findings aim to provide a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and opportunities for Coinfest Asia and offer recommendations for more effective strategies in the future. The study concludes that customer satisfaction at Coinfest Asia is primarily driven by the event's networking opportunities, high-quality venue amenities, and robust technological infrastructure. Attendees value connections with industry players, meeting fellow enthusiasts, and exploring job or project opportunities. The quality of venue amenities, particularly Wi-Fi and internet connectivity, is crucial to meeting expectations. This would definitely allow for relaxed networking to take place within its atmosphere, which stands out from any of its regional competitors. Still, in order to maintain its edge and to further, Coinfest Asia has to continue innovating its programs and bringing surprises every time to enhance the experience of its attendees. The study suggests that future research be designed to cover other areas that may affect the prosperity of the Coinfest Asia event, from more financial and operational aspects to all the B2B components of the conference. A bigger scope of study could probably offer a better understanding of what is actually influencing Coinfest Asia and may even inspire a strategy for its further growth and improvement.
