The effects of transformative leadership on worker efficiency in different firms have been studied, but the findings vary. The goal of the study was to examine how transformational leadership affects worker performance by using self-efficacy as an intermediary variable. The study involved 75 ASNs in public sector organizations, namely Bappeda, Central Java Province and analyzed using SmartPLS 4.0.9.9. The study examines the association between employee performance indicators and the characteristics of transformational leadership, which include charisma, inspirational leadership, customized consideration, and intellectual stimulation. Self-efficacy variables mediate the relationship. According to the study, transformative leadership has a negligible and unfavorable impact on worker performance. The self-efficacy variable acts as a mediator between transformational management and employee performance, which has been demonstrated to have a substantial and beneficial effect.
