Abstract:

This study will analyze how transformational leadership influences teacher performance using the work environment and teacher competence as mediations. The research population comprised 137 junior high school teachers from Siulak District and Siulak Mukai District in Kerinci Regency. The questionnaire is sent using Google Forms as part of the data-gathering process. The type of research data is primary data. The research analysis tool uses Smart PLS Version 3.2.9. The results found that transformational leadership variables affect teacher performance and teacher competence, and the work environment affects teacher performance. Then, the competence of teachers and the work environment proved to mediate the relationship of transformational leadership on teachers' performance in the Junior High School of Siulak sub-district and Siulak Mukai sub-district of Kerinci Regency.
