Abstract:

This study aims to examine the influence of work motivation and leadership style on teacher performance at ABC Foundation School. Data was collected from 105 teachers across three educational levels (MI, MTS, and MA) using a saturated sampling technique. The research employed descriptive analysis and Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) using SmartPLS 4.0. The results revealed that both work motivation and leadership style were rated positively, and teacher performance was generally good. Work motivation showed a significant positive effect on teacher performance (original sample = 0.232; t-statistic = 3.162), as did leadership style (original sample = 0.720; t-statistic = 10.586). These findings highlight the importance of enhancing both motivation and leadership approaches to improve teacher performance. The study offers practical insights for school leaders in designing strategies that foster a more productive and motivated teaching environment.
