This study examines the role of financial infrastructure and digital transactions in promoting inclusive economic transformation in India. This study aims to assess the development and accessibility of financial infrastructure, analyze patterns of adoption and use of digital transactions, evaluate their impact on financial inclusion, explore the relationship between digitalization and economic transformation, investigate how digital tools improve access to formal credit, identify challenges and barriers, and offer policy recommendations. This study adopts a mixed-method design, which combines secondary data analysis (SEBI, RBI, NPCI, Ministry of Finance, World Bank and NSSO) with fieldwork as well as policy research. The paper highlights the importance of financial inclusion for economic growth and poverty reduction, the role that FinTech innovations can play in transforming finance, and challenges to scaling digital solutions. This research contributes to the literature on government programs and FinTech services by emphasizing how policymakers should leverage each other toward inclusive growth. The results intend to advance our knowledge on the relationships between financial infrastructure, digitized payments and economic development, with policy implications for policymakers, financial institutions and researchers who are in the domains of inclusive finance and sustainable development.
