Abstract:

This article aims to identify the satisfaction of the business by the ISO9001 approach and the advantages of adopting the EFQM requirements. Knowing that the Quality Management System benefits organizations and eases the management process of the organizations, it is important to know how to take advantage of this certification in order to implement EFQM. The practical case of this study sought to measure the benefit of organizations by adopting ISO and the consequent access to the EFQM principles was achieved in terms of a quantitative analysis – questionnaire. The results obtained showed a justification of the positive performance of the ISO 9001-certified entities but also revealed that only 1/3 of the organizations mastered the EFQM principles. Given the limitations encountered, some avenues of research under a qualitative nature - interview type - were suggested.
