Abstract:

The tourism sector is susceptible to a variety of threats, including terrorism, disease outbreaks, and natural disasters (Fuchs and Reichel, 2011; Quintal, Lee, and Soutar, 2010). The tourism industry faces a challenge in dealing with these dangers (Lepp, Gibson, dan Jalur, 2011). The global economy has been significantly impacted by Coronavirus/Covid19. The tourism industry has been one of the most hit due to previously unheard-of mobility restrictions (Gossling et al., 2021; Rastegar, Seyfi, and Rasoolimanesh, 2021; Rastegar, Higgins-Desbilles, and Ruhanen, 2021). The direct experience, contacts with others, interactions with the media, and the social context all influence how tourists perceive risk when they are visiting a place. Therefore, it is necessary to differentiate pre-trip tourist perceptions from post-trip perceptions in order to gain greater insight into interconnections and their impact on tourist image and destination satisfaction.
