This essay's goal is to investigate the factors that Togo's fiscal transition in a process of integration with the harmonization of the common external tariff. The results of the Probit model estimates reveal that the probability of achieving a successful fiscal transition in Togo increases by 2.13% when policies are based on the industrial sector. This probability of achieving the fiscal transition rises to 16.36 percent with good administrative quality. On the other hand, official development assistance and trade openness slow down the process of fiscal transition in Togo.
